Don't have a baja but I added thru hull. Figure out the entire route
exactly and then drill small starter holes where you expect the centers to
go thru the transom. You can always fill a little hole, the 4" one is a bit
tougher. I sealed the exposed transom with epoxy after cutting the holes.
One other note the steering cylinder on the later alphas has more clearance
above it that the earlier ones. Also make sure you want to. It will be
much much louder. Forget about conversations while running. I used corsa
silent choice and even when the thrus are closed a good deal of the sound
still gets thru. I have a 300+ 350 and opening the thru hulls adds a about
2 mph to the top end. I'm doing about 60. You have to keep in mind the
thru prop is really not very restrictive for a 350 displacement engine.

Does anyone out there have thru hull exhuast on a mid 80's Baja Force
220?
I have a the 260hp 350 with the alpha and the Y pipe. I would love to
see a picture of any thru haul exhaust. I have all kinds of goodies
for this motor and the exhaust is holding me up on the upgrades.
Thanks
