Some potential solutions for the distant future cash-flow imbalance would be to cut benefits and/or raise the salary cap 9this would also reduce the regressiveness of the tax). How about the government get out of the business of providing insurance and retirement programs. Then the government will have to stop spending the SS tax money like drunken sailors every year! |
