Isnt this a boating Forum? Why all the politics?
Yes, it is. The reason is that 90% of us still have our boats winterized and are anxiously awaiting spring. In the meantime, there isn't much to talk about regarding boating. So, the signal to noise level drastically increases. People start talking politics, religion, motorcycles, classic cars, music, etc...etc... I have joined in and (to some) have fueled the off-topic posters and cause myself to probably get "PLONKED". I tried setting up filters too at one point, but then realized that by doing so, I would be a hypocrite. Why? Because I am just as guilty as the others with off-topic threads during the winter months. Butch Ammon |
