Yes, Senator Byrd has made a public apology for being to the KKK. Don't you
listen or read any news? Here is Senator Byrd's interview with Bernie Shaw

Also, you do know that there is a difference between 'was' and 'is',

Example:
You once was a person who **** there pants daily and drooled alot. Do
you still do that?


The answer is yes I do know the difference between was and is. I never used
the word "is" but I did use the word "was".
