I would agree, but reading the email from Kerry's *office*, it looks to me like pure unadulterated spam. I see no secret deals, no conspiracies, nothing but a piece of spam. Frankly, I don't think an email sent to a foreign news agency is the channel of choice for a potential treasonous act. It's Kerry's intent to rally the World community around his campaign...even at the cost of undermining our current President while troops are in harm's way. If you want to solicit the support of Americans, I can see how it's acceptable. But soliciting the World community, when it's clearly illegal for a foreign person or country to donate financially to a Presidential candidate, is just plain wrong. Perhaps Kerry thinks they'll illegally channel money into that campaign-finance-reform loophole that goes by the name of "moveon.org"? |
