Well, guys, our armed forces have a few openings. I'd think a good many of our
unemployed could get employed right quick if they want. Of course, as always, a HS diploma is always useful. Lack of an arrest record helps, too. Oops, how about that constant random drug testing? The pay is not exactly handsome but there is a hell of a good benefit package. The downside is the danger, of course. Constant difficult training is not always fun. The family separation problems is very difficult to cope with. But, it's a great life for those who want to serve and do meaningful things and have one hell of a good time earning decent pay after a couple of years. Butch |

Indeed, the military is the employer of last resort...but you have to want to go out and do really stupid things if ordered to do so by an incompetent like Dubya. And you might get killed in the process. But, it's a great life for those who want to serve and do meaningful things You might end up doing something meaningful.
