Default WARNING -- "Britney Spears Topless all new" is a virus

Hopefully everyone knows this already and didn't download the
attachment. The attachment is a '.scr' file (same extension as a
screen saver), and from reports in other groups, is a virus.

Don't download files with extensions of scr, exe, bat, com, and a
bunch more. Just don't do it.

Gee, John...did you just read about this in Army Times (mustered-out
edition)?

As you stated do not open the type files stated. .scr is a script file that
will run under "basic".

Incorrect. There is no significant difference between an .scr file and an

..exe
file. You can change the extension of an .scr to .exe and it will still

work
exactly as before. The reverse is also true.

A script is TEXT instructions.

BB

Open up a .scr file with a text editor and look at the layout. The part
after the semicolon is comments. Windows has a built in Basic interpreter.

Are you upset that John attempted to warn newbies, or are you upset
that you didn't get the credit? You are devolving, Harry. A bit
pathetic, actually.

Jeez, here you go again.
Anyone (read: including you) who shows disrespect for our military
personnel or veterans, is a complete ass.

Do you not understand that they did their duty while you were padding
your retirement? Shame on you. Harry.
