I told her she could, just as soon as she could point out to me exactly whose esteem and regard -- hers or someone else's -- was so important that she would risk letting a stranger use a mechanical device to punch a hole in some body part. Of course, I even think pierced ears are pretty stupid, so I guess that identifies my niche. :-) |
