Default No water from outboard

I need some help...

I have no water exiting the outboard, took the water pump apart (it was
destroyed) and replaced it. Now there is still no water... I think the
remains of the water pump impeller are in the engine

Does anyone have any ideas.

I was thinking air presure at the water outlet with the water pump
off...

Nissan 9.8 ~4 years old.

Thanks in advance...

My outboard is a 115 so it may be different, but this still may be helpful.
Most of the cooling water exits below water with the exhaust. The small
stream that you see is the telltale and is included just so you can verify
that cooling water is flowing. It may be that your water is flowing fine but
the telltale is blocked. THat's the first thing to check.
