I'm sure I could get a spreadsheet.

If the business is located in the US have them get a copy of their schedule
E from the IRS and then look it over. Nobody lies to the IRS about income
and expenses.

Uh, Bert...it's a Costa Rican adult fun house. In Costa Rica.

And how are you going value your new acquisition?

We're just talking about the fun part now. I wonder if you can depreciate
the inventory?

What about consuming all of the profits?

Well, there's that, too.

All seriousness aside, life is pretty good in Costa Rica for US ex-pats.
Stable government, decent and cheap health insurance, nice climate, some
interesting properties available at low prices. My buddy who moved there
after he retired bought a small "failed" coffee plantation. Not a big
place. It was really inexpensive. I suggested he change his name to Juan
Valdez but so far he has resisted.

As long as you keep your money in US financial institutions you should be
ok.

If it is good enough for the IRS, should be good for the rest of us. The
Government use to run and may still run a couple of Nevada Brothels, taken
in tax cases. Mustang Ranch near Reno was one of them.

""""""I'm sure I could get a spreadsheet.""''''

but do you know how to read it krause??? Now according to you,, your papa
left you a business, a family business, it didn't have a chance to even get
to the 3rd generation because the second generation was a dunce cluts lying
moron. Tell me krause,, how long after succession began did someone milk you
out of your papa's hard earned business? My estimate is before he was
planted. Probably was set up long before it happened as you simply broadcast
ignorance and stupidity there krause anywhere you go.

Ouch! For a 'health professional', you have a funny way of refering to
people who could probably use professional help.

Tuuk March 24th 05 11:32 AM

krause you liar

first off, what ever the topic, you have a buddy that owns something or
bought something or is the CEO or you married them. Come on krause,, you
don't have to lie about everything krause, there are a few puppets around
here who will still support you krause.

Besides, are you ****ed at your buddy for buying the coffee plantation and
hiring non union labor? Or did get to each of his laborers to poison them
with your union slob antics and get them to join together, picket your
buddy, force him out of business.

Come on krause, you off your meds again today krause???
