Anyone who expected Turkey to cooperate on a military adventure which
would benefit those Kurds advocating & committed to an independent
Kurdish nation is woefully ignorant... ignorant to the point where they
have no business having anything to do with Middle Eastern policy.

In fact, alienating Turkey, a long standing and staunch former ally *as
well as* a strong secular democracy, is one of the biggest failures of
the Bush Administration's Middle East policy... oddly enough, the
liberal biased media doesn't say much about it.
