Default Necky Manitou good all round kayak

Hi I'm looking to buy a good all-round kayak. I'll probably use it
mostly on the small lake behind my house, but I'd like to also be able
to paddle down class 2 rivers, take day trips to some outer banks
islands (I live in NC) and surf some small waves.

I started off looking at the Dagger Blackwater which led me to the
Necky Santa Cruz, when I called up a paddling shop to inquire about the
Santa Cruz they suggested I look at the Manitou instead. So what do ye
this is the Manitou a good all round boat? Is there one better?

BTW I'm 200lbs and did alot of kayaking about 10 years ago,

Thanks

I got my manitou last month. Still haven't baptized it. Will be using
her in the North and South Forks of the Shenandoah. These are shallow,
slow, meandering rivers, with infrequent CII rapids. Either river is
only ten minutes from my house. There are some small lakes nearby. The
larger lakes, Anna, Moomaw, are a couple hours away. Physically,
sounds like we're a similar build. The new manitous have an improved
seat, gray in color rather than black. I bought mine from Springriver
in Rockville, MD. The owner said some of his guys took them out in
Annapolis Harbor and loved them. He was also very familiar with the
rivers near my home and said the manitou was a good choice.
