Default windshield wiper for a small boat

If you can figure a way add fresh water spray like a car has. Some are
attached to the wiper blade. Large water supply.

Anyone have a windshield wiper on a small boat?
I'm considering adding one to my 19' bowrider and wondering if it's worth
the money and effort in the first place and if it's worth spending more

to
get one with an electric motor, in the second place.

Mine works fine with salt spray. Will get so I have to wait for another
wave sometimes to wet the windshield before turning on the wiper. My
windows are glass.
