J.D. Power and Associates is announcing the results of its 2005 Boat Competitive Information Study and 2005 Marine Engine Competitive Information Study at the Miami International Boat Show. When: 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17 Whe Miami Beach Convention Center, Room B121/122 Whe The 2005 Boat Competitive Information Study provides an in-depth analysis of product quality and customer satisfaction and includes seven boat segments: fiberglass bass boats, small runabouts (16-19 feet), large runabouts (20-29 feet), express cruisers (24-33 feet), coastal fishing (17-28 feet), pontoons and ski/wakeboard boats. These seven segments represent a large majority of the total number of power boats sold in the United States. The 2005 Marine Engine Competitive Information Study asks boat owners about their on-the-water experience with their new outboard, sterndrive or inboard boat engines.
