But, if you like classical and serious vocal music, you might want to tune into www.vivalavoce.com with your browser. Great vocal music 24/7, programmed by WGMS-FM, the leading commercial classical music station in the USA. Decent sound, even out of crapola computer speakers. Great for the marina. Seriously, How many times can one hear Verdi's La Traviata (regardless who sings) without putting a gun to your head and pulling the trigger? :) Later, Tom |

It shouldn't really be necessary unless their delivery partner, Limelight Networks, is up to some spyware mischief. |

Reminds me of my vacation in Mexico, circa 1990. All I heard down there
was 'Macarina' or whatever the hell it's called. Over and over and over...... Rap and classical are like matter and anti-matter. Put them both on and they'll annihilate each other......... I prefer CCR......... Dave |

The only thing I didn't like about CCR was that all their songs sounded the same. They were all different, but they all sounded the same. You can say the same for a bunch of bands. When a particular band's signature "sound" is pleasing, then it's sure bet that you'll like most of their songs. The converse is also true. My favorite boating songs: When navigating a crowded waterway or zig-zagging through crab pots: Run Through the Jungle - CCR. When Tubing: Tunnel of Love - Dire Straits. When cruising a long and narrow river or canal: Green River - CCR. When cruising through a primarily sailboat marina: Born on the Bayou - CCR. Cruising flat out: Down To the Waterline - Dire Straits. Waiting out a sudden summer thunderstorm: Who'll Stop the Rain - CCR Thunder and Lightning - Phil Collins Anchoring out at the local river: Down By The River - Neil Young After filling up the gas tank: Back in Black - AC-DC. When the day is over: I Wanna Be Sedated - Ramones Dave |
