Mr. Meade,
While I'm very sorry about your pension situiation, and your being upset with the greedy Americans and all however I don't see what your little rant has to do with boating. -b "David Meade" wrote in message ... ![]() Guess what, your great union won pension won't be worth crap if enough people lost their jobs. Sounds like you're one of those people who want it all but don't want to pay for it. Steve Sounds like he already paid for it. Hey buddy, what's this got to do with boating. rec.boats, it's the boats part that it's all about and you're just an OT jerk. Christopher Robin |

Now, other people are paying for his retirement, i.e., the people who are working that he wishes lost their jobs. But the ratio of retirees to payers is a lot higher now than it was when he started working. It doesn't take living very long past retirement before you start receiving more than you put in. Steve |

Steve With or without interest? In dollar for dollar contributions, I expect you're not wrong. The pension, however, is supposed to have earned some profit for the payee, no? Unless, of course, you put your pension money in Enron 401K plan. |
