In northern Ohio was are expecting anywhere from 6" ~ 12" by tomorrow night. http://www.weather.com/newscenter/stormwatch/ We had a blizzard on Monday, a Nor'Easter with 20 cm of snow yesterday, and now we hear that we may get that storm that's brewing stateside. I should pat myself on the back for buying that snowblower. http://tinyurl.com/4pmx6 Good timing. And it looks like pretty cold temperatures you guys are expecting. |

The Brits sent over their new fleet amphibious flagship 'HMS Albion' for frigid weather testing. It arrived yesterday for a four day visit and then planned to travel to Newfoundland and north up along the Labrador coast for another 6 days. Cold they wanted...cold they got! |

A much shorter route from the UK with similar temperatures. |

Halifax is the Naval headquarters for the Atlantic Fleet and they will be working with one of our destroyer escorts. They do plan to head to Newfoundland after the four day stay here. |
