( OT ) WMD hunt over -- nothing found = More Bush Lies

I'm beginning to think that Jim and Harry are not fond of our president
or his policies....

So, once again, proof of Bush's lies.

I wonder if the CIA etc contacted NOYB. He seems to have insider info that
the WMD were slipped out to Syria or Iran.

Not Iran. Syria.

Actually, there are only a handful of people in this country who are happy
with his policies. They consist of his advisors and his dog. Many millions
of people CLAIM to approve, but the reality is that they simply don't want
to be bothered with actually thinking about things.

Even the Bush administration now admits that it is extremely unlikely that
WMD
were removed to a neighboring country.

That's news to me. Which member of the Bush administration said that?

John R. Bolton, Undersecretary for Arms Control. September, 2003

Notice the use of the term "no information". This was back when we were
still absolutely convinced that SH was sitting on a chemical and
nuclear stockpile of bad stuff, based on the flimsiest available
shadows of questionable evidence....

Bolton said, about Syria.......

While there is currently no information indicating that the Syrian
Government has transferred WMD to terrorist organizations or would
permit such groups to acquire them, Syria=92s ties to numerous terrorist
groups underlie the reasons for our continued anxiety.

Hmmm......John Bolton, September 2003.

I could have sworn you just said "Even the Bush administration now admits
that it is extremely unlikely that WMD were removed to a neighboring
country."

Interesting how you continue to make up stories or stretch the truth in
order to support your agenda or thesis.

There's a lot of behind-the-scenes maneuvering taking place regarding Syria
right now. Russia is neck-deep in this, and I believe that's the only
reason we haven't moved against Syria yet. There is plenty of
circumstantial evidence suggesting that Russia helped Saddam conceal his
WMD...perhaps even helping him move them out of the country to Syria. Now,
Russia is causing a huge rift in Russian-Israeli and US-Russian relations
with its proposed sale of air defense and anti-aircraft missile to Syria.

If you go back to early 2003, we hit a Russian convoy streaking across the
desert making a bee-line for Syria. It was supposedly a group of embassy
officials (driving alongside heavy trucks?!?). We tried to get them to
divert to Jordan, but they ignored our request. The wounded were taken to a
hospital in..........Fallujah. The very next day, Condi Rice (an expert on
the former USSR) was dispatched to Moscow.

There may be a new Cold War on the horizon...and Syria and Iran are the
Russian pawns in the stand-off.

Be sure to support the next school bond in your district.

"The Bush Administration" includes not only GWB, but his VP, cabinet,
etc. Look it up.

This mission took Armitage to Damascus with nine American demands.

DEBKA-Net-Weekly's Washington sources published those demands for the
first
time in its last week's issue: .

1. Start repealing Syria's 40-years old emergency laws.

2. Free all political prisoners from jail.

3. Abolish media censorship.

4. Initiate democratic reform.

5. Speed up economic development

6. Cut down relations with Iran.

7. Announce publicly that the disputed Shebaa Farms at the base of Mt.
Hermon are former Syrian territory. This would cut the ground from
under the
Lebanese terrorist Hizballah's claim that the land is Lebanese and must
be
"liberated" from Israeli "occupation."

At least the next phase of the PNAC plan will be more honestly
conducted than was the first.

"We're here to tell you how to run your country, because we can, and we
hope to hell you refuse so we can turn you into another of our economic
and cultural colonies."

Notice that among those demands there is really nothing that could be
considered primarily a step to enhance the domestic security of the
United States or wipe out terrorists. We're admitting that much of our
motivation is to do the bidding of Israel in the region. That's good.
Honesty is better than selling us stories about yellow cake.
