My suggestion would be to use a Delco 10-SI self exciting alternator,
with the spark arresting baffles. about 60 amps. you mount it. Hook up your main output wire on the back and thts it...you're done. plus, they're not expensive. its a typical car alternator with baffles and aproved for mariene use. You can get them though about any parts store for about $80.00 .. Running diesel, I don't even think you would need a "marine model" the automotive 10-SI/SE is about $65.00 outright. Tim |
