Do you really see the world in as the black and white you conveyed in this

Your right wing radio stations go out of their way to polarize every issue.
"You're either with us, or against us. You either worship the ground Bush walks
on, or you're a friggin' socialist traitor. You either express enthusiastic
support for the war in Iraq, or you wish for our servicemen and women to be
killed. You either support tax cuts and acclerated deficit spending or you hope
the economy fails.....etc"

I see the liberal vs. conservative split in the US as an extremely polarized
issue, and am well aware of the side that has done the most to encourage the
hate and distrust.

But that's not possible. Mr. Bush is, by his own description, a "uniter, not a
divider."

It's a multi-billion dollar a day industry catering to the
largest audience of
listeners to be found anyplace.

I think there's plenty of room in the world for dissenting opinions. They
should be encouraged. So, yes.....whatever the hate radio jockeys and their
devoted disciples represent (black or white) I would hope to be about as
opposite on the spectrum as can be.

Well, good evening Joseph. It's nice to see your lovely face in the
chat room tonight. We are all laid back now. No arguing, name-calling,
or anything negative. If you should read something negative, it was
undoubtedly posted erroneously.

Hope the weather in San Francisco (Diego, Clemente, Luis Obispo,
Rafael ??) is not too bad!

It's not a chat room.

That would be lovely Bethel Island and environs.

The Delta is indeed lovely this time of year.

New Years Eve at Caliente Isle Yacht Club (www.ciyc.org/pages/1/index.htm),
where SWMBO and I manned the bar for two hours. Nice deal: pour for two hours,
drink free for the rest of the night.

Rang in the new year, then toddled down to M/Y "Shangri-La," and cozy bunk.
About 0300, the heavens opened: the tintinnabulation of the rain on the tin roof
over the slip woke us up, but quite pleasantly. Not quite so pleasant the sound
of said tin roof being ripped off by 40 kt winds!

Still a nice start to the new year--spending it afloat.

Can I assume that is your vessel at the end of the dock?

Or, were you referring to this lovely specimen?

It appears the roof *could* be tin~

A lot of pictures here, but you aren't wearing a name tag. Identify
yourself! http://www.ciyc.org/pages/6/index.htm
