Default 24 more US troops die todayin Bush's Folly

What a tragic bit of news. Most of the kids in that tent were with Task Force
Olympia out of nearby Fort Lewis.

It's very very easy to believe the war was a stupid idea and that Bush and crew
were not forthright with their reasoning and secret justifications for the
invasion. (As I do)

That doesn't mean that one needs to hoot, holler, clap and scratch every time
our own kids become added to the long list of tragic victims claimed by this
debacle.

I'm for a solution ASAP. If the solution makes Bush and his crew look like
fools, or geniuses, it matters not. Right now our kids are dying in the wrong
place, for a bogus reason. Resolve this mistake and bring them home.....

Here's where the right wing apologists ask me, "How?" Frankly, I don't know
how. It isn't my job to know how. Somebody should have thought about how to get
out before we got in to begin with. With the authority to act as CIC comes the
responsiblity to act with careful measure, foresight, and at least a couple of
fall back plans to switch to in the case of "What if?"
It is painfully evident that careful foresight and alternative exit strategies
are lacking here.............

unless, of course, the plan is to fulfill the PNAC agenda.....and in that case
we are well on course.

May these additional dead soldiers, and the civilian workers killed in this
latest attack rest in peace. They have more than earned it.
