I come to this newsgroup to read about boating and find people like harry,
asskisser, and that gould jerk wanting bad things to happen to this country.
Is there somewhere they can be reported? I don't know where they live but
they sound dangerous. Am I worried for nothing because they are just gutless
wonders on a keyboard?

Actually, Gould has posted some pretty good stuff about boats. I hope
he continues -- posting stuff about boats, that is. The other two,
well...never mind.

Naw, Chuck is OK -- a reasonable guy. Basskisser is just a raver who never
quite got a grasp on grammar or spelling, and Harry is basically just a
harmless union pr flack who can't handle things as he watches his world

It is sad to see the United States, which once stood as a symbol of much
of what was good in this world, devolve into a imperialist, fascist-like
police state where the welfare of corporations, not people, is the
driving force, and that ignorant, skillless rightwing guttersnipes think
it is a good thing.

I'm very pleased to have been associated with my brothers and sisters in
the American labor movement for more than 30 years, and to have
produced campaigns, literature and magazine articles for dozens of
unions. The union movement created the middle class in this country; it
is mindless, right-wing trash like you that is destroying it.

Who knows...perhaps this weekend you'll get together with others of your

What I was planning to do is attend a CG Aux training conference being held
close to home. Couple of workshops and seminars I need to attend. You
know -- better ways to hide contraband in the bilge.... that sort of thing.

You trimmed the hair on your palm, eh? You use a Sharpie to write those
calendar notes?

I don't see many CG Aux folks out on Chesapeake Bay, but the US Power
Squadron types are as plentiful as palmetto bugs in a Florida coastal
swamp. There's a bunch of them who can't sail but run out of the clubby
Herrington Harbour facility into Herring Bay on Sundays on a 36-footer
and provide a show to passersby of how not to sail a sloop. Scary group.

A brisk business might be had in supplying boat owners with flags or
placards that ward off those USPS types trying to make their bones with
"boat safety" inspections.

I'll have to buy a couple more almanacs to keep aboard, in case we're
boarded by the federales.
