...of John Lennon's murder.

Note to Noybby:

He was the musician, not the great grandson of Vladimir I. Lenin.

You know...the BEATLES...

I remember it like it was yesterday. IMO a much bigger loss than Elvis..

And to quote another Beatle commenting on Lennon's murder: "it's a drag".

I'd be hard-pressed to make that distinction. Both were among the
greatest influences on rock and pop. I think Elvis' stage presence
during his prime was unequalled. Lennon, of course, had many important
contributions.

One drawback of Lennon. He brought us Yoko.

I agree. His life can show us one thing, or two:

A good band can change the world for the better.

One wacko can screw it all up.

All you need is love, love.

Every time I hear a beatles tune
It's brought back yesterday,
and things I found back then.

When I was young
I learned to hear a guitar weep,
and drums that danced alone,
behind a submarine's screen door
scented, sweet's glass onion.

Ah, Rita, maid.

I have become a fool
-on a hill,
and can snyde again
the di-monded Lucy's sky.

Ah, if we could all get by
and help our friends again.
I could even let go by
that...
my brother liked the stones instead?

-to John and Graham.
