Damn, you ARE easy to chum up!!! This is fun!!!!!

Speaking of chum, I was reading an article this morning about chum and
winter flounder.

I never knew that one could use chum with fluke/flounder. I know they
are as aggressive as any other piscatoral predator, but I never
figured in chum.

Learn something new everyday.

I just read that article, too, recently. What magazine was it in?

You had to ask didn't you? :)

I believe it was Salt Water Sportsman.

Later,

Tom

I get Salt Water Sportsman, Florida Sportsman, Shallow Water Angler, and
Sport Fishing. When I read an article, I can never remember which magazine
I read it in. I save 'em all, so that when a particular issue comes, I not
only read the current year issue, but the past 2 or 3 years also.

Must have been Salt Water Sportsman then because I don't get those
others.

I subscribe to SWS, In-Fisherman, On The Water and The Fisherman, New
England edition, Fly Fisherman, Salt Water Fly Fishing, a couple of
fishing newsletters from suppliers and that's enough.

I wish we still lived down in St. Augustine...there's a lovely shallow
flat at Matanzas Inlet where you can walk on a covered sandbar and gig
flounder. No bait.

I used to love doing that when I lived in LA. One of the guys I
worked with had a family camp on some bayou near the coast. Used to
get a case of Dixie and gig up a few flounder to fry up on the beach.

Good times.

Tom
