That's why I sold my Illinois bass boat (My Baby!) and bought a home on the
west coast of FL. Not in the $$$$$ area in the SW but up north in the
swamps. No ice here.

Temperature is pushing 80 here today, went for a nice little sunset
cruise on the river Sunday night.

We do have ice here however, it's in my glass.

It was actually colder this morning than yesterday......
minus 11 C. Tonight we expect 5 cm of snow followed by freezing rain & then
rain as temperatures go up.
I have to go outside and finish up tying down my tarp.

That's cheap. Today we've had drizzle all day with temps in the 40's.
Went up to get my batteries from the boat, now that winterizing is
finished, only to be told I need new batteries. Hell, mine are only
eight years old.

Had seven yards of mulch dumped in the driveway. That'll give me
something to do for the next few days. Thank God for Christmas. Many
of the teachers want a day off. Keeps me off the streets.

Come on spring!
