Please adopt a stray cat. They have nothing to give but love. All our
cats were once homeless or strays.

Condolences, Harry

My orange and white short hair is sleeping on my printer as I type. I
can't imagine life without her, but, when it comes, I'm sure I'll
figure out how to cope.

She is my best friend. I rescued her when she was a small kitten.
The people who lived in the house kept her in a laundry basked placed
upside down with books on top to keep her inside. They had a couple
of doberman dogs that were allowed the run of the house while this cat
was kept a captive to her laundry basket.

When I heard the story about her predicament, I said, let's go get
her, and then I'll find a good home for her. After about 15 seconds
of having her in my lap, I knew, even though I already had another
cat, I'd never let this one out of my sight again.

My original cat, "Fred", died a few years later, after 17 loyal years
to me, leaving me with only my beautiful, loving, orange and white
stray. TG I had my little female cat to help me through my loss.

On topic, my current cat has no use for boats, or motors, but she's
damned glad not to be trapped under a laundry basket anymore, and lets
me know just how much she appreciates being rescued, every day.

Thanks...it's pretty dreadful, actually. She was a great cat.

Partial birth abortion is a hell of a lot worse than losing a cat. Harry
supports partial birth abortion yet laments over a cat.

His priorities in life are wrong.

Sorry about your cat, Harry.

They do become like a family member.

Thanks. It really sucks.

Like sucking out the brains of a baby in a partial birth abortion? Oh, that
doesn't count. That's just fine with you.

CattyWampus, our much-loved creamy orange American shorthair cat, died
peacefully in her sleep at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, November 17th, after
our veterinarian injected her with a sedative overdose.

Our condolences Harry. Pets certainly are part of the family and it's
tough to see them go.

We are going through a similar circumstance right now - in fact it's the
reason we haven't left for Florida yet. Mrs. E's 14 year old Westie
"Major" has an inoperable cancer and the vet says it's just a matter of
time. He has good days and bad, but I suspect the time is very soon.

How did CattyWampus get along with your other "cat"?

Too bad your mom didn't get an abortion.

She was well kept for 16 yrs is a ripe old age for a cat.
Remember the good times. Why so many cats without any dogs?
