Can someone try this tiny URL and see if it takes you to a newly created
Yahoo photo album page I set up.

There's a few pics of the Navigator on it.

I am a little confused about how you make access to it public vs private.

Thanks,

Eisboch .... Oh yeah, the Tiny URL is: http://tinyurl.com/3oaan

Could be. What is it exactly that the gal with the great big (and exposed)
portions of her anatomy wants to get all over her face?

Just joking......Nice looking boat.

Thanks. I was not sure it worked without having to enter a password.
Let's not tell anyone about the female, ok? :-)

Eisboch,
Worked fine for me. Hey aren't you kind of down sizing, or just slowing
down? Navigator / Grand Banks, decisions, decisions. Both look great. Either
way I hope it works out well for the both of you.

Okay...someone explain why this missive from Eisboch, which I recall
seeing on the day he posted it has shown up AGAIN as a new post in my
newsreader.

Didn't come from me.

Are you using Thunderbird?

The reason I ask is that it seems to me that I occasionally see posts that I
swore I already read days before when using Thunderbird, but I haven't
really thought about why.

I have it set to display "Unread Messages" only and I usually mark "all
read" after each visit to the newsgroup. I wonder if it is a Thunderbird
thing.

What sometimes happens is that a newserver somewhere sees it as a new
message and it is reprocessed into the system causing it to magically
reappear days after the original post. It can also happen if a NG
server goes down and messages are in cache - they don't always do a
compare routine when the server comes back online.

And sometimes, things fall through the cracks. :)

Tom
