This is to be "her" boat, and I have been invited to teach her how to handle it next summer when we return from Florida. Whew ... she never ceases to amaze me, even after 34 years. The question is are you going to slip them together or on opposite sides of the marina? :) By the way, I do boat handling instruction - be glad to help out if you get to the point where you are about to punch each other out. :) I tried to teach her to drive a stick shift Fiat when we lived in Italy. Never again. Her girlfriend taught her while my ship was underway and my wife was there to pick me up when we returned. I still won't let her drive my S-10. Of course, she also refuses to get in it. Ah - well, I have the patience of Job. Just ask my kids - I taught them to drive. They liked me better than their professional teachers. Later, Tom |
