Some of the impressive statistics: I was amazed to learn that big cruise ships have more electric generation than some of our grid-based power stations - more than enough for a small town. I'm guessing they use electric motors for propulsion? So: If you're in a remote seashore town and you lose power, get a BIG pair of jumper-cables and flag down a cruise ship! ![]() Lloyd |
