Yup, building a coalition, appeasing the limp dick congressmen, and
toadying to the UfrigginN was a total waste of time. He should have
acted before warning anyone of anything.

nations: 68 UK / 72 other.

It's a little late for a consensus. I suspect every leader in the world knew
that Bush was tilting at windmills. A consensus would be meaningless at this
point. The best we can hope for is a new president who will stop insulting
our intelligence every time he opens his mouth.

The phrase was, "...should have done...," not "should do..."

It was a tongue in cheek comment. Read it again. It points to a big
fallacy in Kerry's proposed modus operandi.

Well, I think the best we can hope for at this point is that Kerry won't get
us into ANOTHER mess like this. As far as the current mess, I don't think
ANYONE is capable of making drastic improvements. Bush burned down the
house. Planting a marigold in front of the wreck will achieve nothing.
