But it was a bigger burger—Burger King, in fact—that lobbed the biggest
grenade at Sinclair. The fast-food giant announced that it was
withdrawing all its ads from all Sinclair stations all day on the date
the weapon is broadcast—now scheduled for Friday, October 22.

Burger King currently has one of the creepiest advertisements that I've
ever seen on TV. A guy awakens to find a giant-headed man/king leering at
him while laying in the bed next to him. I, for one, will be happy to not
have to watch their homosexually-suggestive crap.

Wow...you're really going over the cliff these days...is it just angst
over the embarrassment you have for supporting Bush?

Have you seen the commercial?

Hevesi also questioned the independence of Sinclair's directors,
according to stock market rules. Sinclair's stock took another hit on
Wall Street yesterday.

Granted, I'm preoccupied, but what sort of "independence" is Hevesi talking
about? The stock market doesn't prohibit directors from using their
corporate resources in political ways. If it did, half the listed companies
would be in violation.

How does a dentist work on male patients with an attitude like that? With
arms fully extended so he doesn't get too close?

NOBBY, if you haven't noticed, sees "enemies" everywhere.

Jesus was the ultimate liberal progressive revolutionary of all history.
The conservative religious and social structure that he defied hated and
crucified him. They examined His life and did not like what they saw. He
aligned himself with the poor and the oppressed. He challenged the
religious orthodoxy of his day. He advocated pacifism and loving our
enemies. He liberated women and minorities from oppression. He healed on
the Sabbath and forgave adulterers and prostitutes. He associated with
drunks and other social outcasts. He rebuked the religious right of his
day because they embraced the letter of the law instead of the Spirit.
He loved sinners and called them to himself. Jesus was the original
Liberal. He was a progressive, and he was judged and hated for it. It
was the self-righteous religionists that he rebuked and he called them
hypocrites.

The primary issues of Christian Liberalism were birthed when Jesus spoke
the profoundly prophetic words found in Matthew 25: 31-46. These
scriptures reveal God's heart for the poor, the sick and other neglected
people through out history. Christians should read this text and judge
for themselves which of the two groups mentioned there more accurately
reflect the political parties of today. His Liberalism lives on today
and the issues have not changed much.

I'm not paranoid. It's just that I'm not going to see some shrink who will
analyze me, pass my name along to the secret mind police database, and then
have black helicopters follow me around wherever I go. No thanks!

Why would they want to duplicate what they already are doing"?
