Default Want a gmail account?

Also Sprach Bert Robbins :
Aren't we generous with something that is free.

If it's free, why don't you go to gmail.com and sign up for one... oh
wait, YOU CAN'T. Gmail is currently invitation only.

Well I don't think you will be getting one from Harry...

Try EBay:

Looks like I'll be using Hotmail for a while longer. Gmail is
apparently trying to set cookies that offend my anti-Spyware software
in some way that is not clear.

Gmail is a SPAM and advertisement delivery vehicle. You have been given
accounts so that you can beta test Gmail, which means we want you to find
the problems.

I don't see the benefit in being tracked by Google.

Why does anyone still use the free email services? For as little as
$6.49, you can get a domain name of your very own--
https://domains.ev1servers.net/cgi-bin/reg_system.cgi

Hosting (ignoring the crappy freebie hosts) is as little as $12 a
year, and you can create as many email accounts as you want, plus
gaining a web/ftp space as a bonus-- http://vonetwork.com/shared.htm
Includes:

100MB Space, 1GB Bandwidth, Cpanel 9.9, PHP/MySQL/CGI/SSI, Unlimited
Domains/Subdomains, Unlimited Domain Pointers/Parking, Unlimited POP3
Email accounts, Web Mail Access, Email
Autoresponders/Forwarders/Aliases, Catch-all Email feature, IMAP
Server, SMTP Mail Server, SPAM Filtering, Email Virus Protection,
Email Manager, Mailing Lists Manager, Unlimited FTP Access, Anonymous
FTP, FTP Accounts, Your own CGI-bin, Perl latest version, PHP latest
version, MySQL Server & Databases, PHPMyadmin, Python, Tcl C, C++,
FrontPage Extensions, Server Side Includes(SSI), Auto installer for
OSCommerce, Auto installer for PHPNuke, Auto installer for Invision
Board, Auto installer for Phpbb, Preinstalled CGI Scripts, WWW and
Non-WWW Access, Protected Directories, Hotlink Protection, Sendmail
Support, Modification of MIME types Customizable 404 Error Pages,
Detailed Web statistics, File Manager, Access to Raw Log files,
Crontabs, SSH Access, Search Engine Submission.

Forget the free providers, and pay the (average of) $1.54 a month!

I have a gmail account and am not particularly worried about this,
but some people feel google/gmail is "creepy". So FYI, check out:
