Subject: Panga boats
From: Anyone seen any of these Panga boats? www.panga.com Made in South America and imported (and modified) here. I think you are confusing two different panga companies. The link you posted is to the Panga Fishing Boat company which makes their boats here in the US as I recall. The Panga Marine boat company here in Sarasota (http://www.pangamarine.com/aboutus.htm) is the one that imports (from Mexico as I recall) it's boats and rigs them here. I have seen the local pangas and they seem like well built boats. The guys who do the rigging do good work. And a friend of mine bought one for use at his house in the Bahamas and is very happy with it so far. Capt. Bill |
