"peewee" wrote in message ... I am a marketing student and am studying the recreational boating industry. Would you take just 20 seconds to answer a few questions in reply to this post? 1) why did you buy a boat? I enjoy fishing as well as boating, form of relaxation, stress management (what was I thinking?) 2) what helped you decide that you wanted a boat? Social influence, boat ownership and captains ran in the family. 3) why did you buy from the dealer that you bought it from? Distribributor of the product that I wanted. 4) did you have a good buying experience with your dealer? No, few better alternatives in my geographical area. I find some to have low integrity, with no concern for their image. 5) what was the best thing about your buying experience with your dealer? Best "thing" I guess was I knew they were not a 100% honest, they knew that I knew, didn't care about it, so this allowed me to squeeze their margins on my purchase so incredibly, and I felt comfortable with it. I maximized my value. 6) what was the worst thing about your buying experience with your dealer? An unusual relationship, not typical to today's supply chain relationships or distributorships. Not very customer focused, at least not in my area. Thanks! I really appreciate it! Next time I see you at the dock I will be sure to take you for a nice ride in my boat! ![]() NP |
