What's left of Hurricane Ivan passed by here and washed out our weekend.
The winds down in Cape Breton reached between 90 & 100 km. This prevented the Queen Mary 2 from making her 'first' Canadian port of call. Beats me why Halifax wasn't first. After all, this is only the birthplace of Samuel Cunard, who founded the line. We do expect the liner to visit on the way back from Quebec City Tuesday 28th. |
