Default Ivan still packs punch

What's left of Hurricane Ivan passed by here and washed out our weekend.
The winds down in Cape Breton reached between 90 & 100 km. This prevented
the Queen Mary 2 from making her 'first' Canadian port of call. Beats me
why Halifax wasn't first. After all, this is only the birthplace of Samuel
Cunard, who founded the line. We do expect the liner to visit on the way
back from Quebec City Tuesday 28th.
