This is a nice myth, but untrue. The only thing we didn't use in Korean
and Vietnam...thermonuclear bombs.

Harry, Im not talking about the weapons we used, rather the methods.
We could not follow the VC into Cambodia, When we sent bombers into
North Vietnam we couldn't bomb the harbor for fear of killing any Russians.
There were way too many restrictions on the way we fought the war, not
what we used to fight it.
Take the Politicians and collateral damage out of the mix and watch what
happens!

Oh, really? We "incurred" into Cambodia.

You think we lost to North Vietnam because it occasionally got some
meager supplies?

That's a giggle.

Take the politicians out of the mix and we have a military dictatorship.

Only late in the war...and no airstrikes on VC strongholds there.

By meager supplies do you mean Russian SAM's but no thats not why we lost
I think it was basically we interfered in a civil war, which we had no
business going
in the first place. When you can't trust the people you are supposedly
fighting for
you are in for big trouble.

Oops, we crossed the frontier, which wasn't marked with a big sign!

Gee, I along with 99.99999999999% of the rest of the world were under the
impression that the North Vietnamese were not capable of building Soviet
radars and SAM's.

Oh, isn't that why we have civillian leadership of the military? You can't
take the politicians out of the military in the US of A.
