of 150 year old antebellum mansions a couple hundred feet from the highway
and another 200' of beach in normal times. Devasted Biloxi. I went through
Betsy in 1965, washed most of the buildings off islands around New Orleans.

off shore is the buoy? And you stated that there could not be 36' waves 200
miles or more from the panhandle.
