Gunner and his ilk really would have been more happy with life if they
had lived in Nazi Germany during WW II or Soviet Russia shortly
afterwards, and had been minor functionaries in those police states.
They'll be much more comfy when the neocons complete their conversion of
the United States into a fascist state.

They're cowardly assholes, hiding behind made up screen names, munged
ISPs and guns. Bush people.

Gunner is using his real name, and he ain't hiding, either. He's just a
little slow in wising up to what's been happening, for some strange reason I
can't fathom. He'll catch on eventually. Meanwhile, we'll just have to
hold the fort without him.

His mother named him Gunner?

Thanks for today's laugh.

Gunner Asch is indeed a Nym. However its quite easy to determine who I
am, where I live, etc. Feel free. You may even decide to come visit.
Mind the dogs, the mine fields and the home owner.

Mine field?

Hey there's someone out in your yard, you better go check it out.

Gunner, when your mom was busy naming you gunner, did she live in a
compound?

And come nice. Else leave a will with someone you trust.

My mistake. I stand corrected. I went to school with a kid named Gunnar, a
common Scandinavian name. I assumed Gunner's nom de infobahn was an
Americanized version of that first name. His point is well taken, however.
He'd be easy enough to find. Taft ain't that big a place. In fact, its
best described as merely a village (doubtless one where Gunner provides a
common public function traditional in villages)

Indeed.

The only Gunnar I have ever met was an old Swede who ran Gunnar's
Marine Service. Bought a replacement trailer winch line from him.

"How long would that be", he asks. "Fifteen feet", says I.

"You want the end spliced?". I said OK.

About 3 seconds (at least it seemed that fast) I had the the nicest
splice around that metal eyelet!

Funny thing about Gunnar -- he didn't own a boat. Said he only got on
the water once or twice a year -- when he couldn't fix the customer's
outboard problem using his test tank.

Retired a couple of years ago and his kids shut the business.

Dog and cat catcher..or rescuer as it may be. Now you on the other
hand should note that Taft is now looking for a village idiot. Send in
your resume before Heywierd gets a H1-B visa and beats you to it.

Harry is already village idiot for his burg.

And doing a find job too.

That's funny.

I used the username H1-B a couple weeks ago for a few days.

No one knew what it meant.

I have a few small knacks in that regard.

Jack of all trades, master of only a few. Shrug.

Thank you.
