I have a 1979 Mercury 70 hp outboard. I need 12v power to power a trim/tilt
gauge, so I need it to be hot only when engine is on. What's the easiest
way to do this? There is a rubber plug on the front of the control box that
has three slots ( looks like a small plug outlet).
Is this possibly 12v out of the control ? If so, is there a plug available
to fit this?
