Carrying kayak on pickup truck

Carrying kayak on pickup truck

How are you guys carrying your yaks on pick up trucks? Too long to put in
the bed of the truck, I am thinking of getting one of those "ladder racks"
that people use to carry ladders around. Any suggestions?
