Default Getting It Up: A Charter Party

Looking for a few hardy souls to help fill out a couple of days of
charter fishing in the Virginia Beach area the week of 22 December. Yes,
I know, it is Christmas week.*

My buddy Craig and I planning a three or four day trip to Virginia Beach
to fish the CBBT and perhaps head offshore, if the weather is willing.

I'm building a list of charter boats active down there that week, and so
far have more than a half dozen possibles. These are mostly 36'-45'
boats, with a 28' Able tossed in for good measure. I know of one of the
possible captains; he's active in the Deale area during more moderate
weather.

A day's charter runs about $600-$800, including a tip for the mate.
Hotel rooms can be had for $30 a night. Really.

We figure four more guys and the daily cost will be about $125 for what
typically is very good fishing. The temps are...well...not like those
you might find in South Florida that time of year.

If you are interested, and you're not a weather-wussie, send me an email:

I'll start up an "email-inform-list."

Thanks.

* This is a wife-approved trip. Ms. K will be out of state, visiting her
aged grandmother during Christmas week.
