Actually, I'd venture to say that I'm this newsgroups foremost source for
info on the old Mercury inlines. My boat is besides the point, my marine
shop on Lake Harwell is however gathering steam.
The only time I tend to post to a political thread is to call a blatant foul
or to speculate a bit into future unfoldings.

I'm sure you would, and that's been your trouble here - you think anyone
really *cares* whom *you* killfile and why, you're not that important so
deflate your hat size.

Further Chris, the whole concept of the killfile is the wrong approach
here - because except for less than a handfull of people, the ones that post
OT are also some of the more informed boaters, they just seem to enjoy
killing each other over politics for amusement. The real way to "fix" this
newsgroup is by using the FILTER and setting it up to hide/delete the OT
posts. This can be done quietly, easily. and without a lot of fanfare. And
when a political junkie decides to actually post something ON topic - it
gets through.

You seem to enjoy making it "personal" which is why you've been continually
attacked in here.
