But Gwendolyn Tose'-Rigell, the principal at Emma E. Booker Elementary School, says Bush handled himself properly. "I don't think anyone could have handled it better," Tose'-Rigell told the Sarasota Herald-Tribune in a story published Wednesday. "What would it have served if he had jumped out of his chair and ran out of the room?" Well, that certainly explains it...the world-class statesman-school principal has the answer. As to what might have been served, who knows...there are lots of questions still unanswered about the Bush misAdministration in the times leading up to and immediately after 9-11. Well, I suppose it was better when Kerry said he "couldn't think" for 45 minutes. Of course, that might be an improvement. Bush was POTUS at the time. Ergo, what Bush thought, said, and did during that time period was far more important than anything anyone else might have thought, said, or did. Bush is a simpie. Even his staff admits he is a reluctant thinker and discusser, and depends upon his "guts" rather than any sort of knowledge about any important issue. Unfortunately for us, Bush's guts are full of nothing but crap. -- "There's an old saying in Tennessee - I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee - that says, fool me once, shame on - shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again." -George W. Bush, Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002 |
