Simplest check is to check the battery voltage with the motor off and then check it while running. It should be higher running. The simplest test is to turn on a light using the battery and start her up. If the lights get brighter after it starts, you're charging, some. If you have a good voltmeter, 14 volts should be about right, maybe a little lower if it's hard to start. Gotta hydrometer? Terry K |
