By itself, the quote that Jim cited makes no sense. Now it does. Did you ever stop to think that it was ONLY you, who didn't get it? I don't visit kerry-for-President websites...so why would I happen to stumble upon Barnes' statement? The mainstream press didn't cover it until Kerry put it on his website. Without posting the comments in their entirety, the little snippet that Jim posted makes no sense. In any context, the statement that "the duty of an elected official is to help rich people" is clearly offensive. Now do you get it? |
