Default Stearns Inflatable Canoe

I was looking at the Sports Authority web site, and I saw that Stearns
has a two person canoe for $299. (as opposed to their IK's). I'm a
pretty big guy, fluctuating between 280-290 pounds, and I need something
that can carry me and ... well me on day trips paddling around TVA lakes
for the most part, as I am trying to get into this sport. It says it has
a 500 pound capacity.

Anyone have any experience or advice? It would be much appreciated.

(have to have an inflatable, no room to put a regular canoe or kayak
right now).
