Hello all,
I have a 1995 Wellcraft Coastal 2600 with the 7.4 Liter V-8 and the Mercruiser Bravo One outdrive. It's been pretty good so far... Anyways, the boat is now stuck in reverse. I've checked the linkage from the Quicksilver throttle to the engine and it works nice and smooth. The shift cable from the engine down to the outdrive is very difficult to operate. I can with some effort get it to shift into forward and it's very difficult to find neutral. Any ideas? Shift cable maybe frozen inside. Sounds like a new cable is needed.
