We all speak of the good old days and wonder where they went.

"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any
price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe
to assure the survival and success of freedom".

Now there was a Democrat. What has happened to that democratic party. A party
that all Americans were proud of. To bad he was taken away so soon, who knows
where history may have taken us if November 22, 1963 had a different ending.

Those were the good old days.

The fact is that if JFK were to emerge alive from the ether tomorrow,
ignorant of the events of the last forty years, and look around at the
writings and policies of the major parties, with no names or faces to
guide
him, he would be welcomed by and feel at home with any group of
republicans,
and be considered a moderate. Looking around at the political landscape,
he
might lean toward one of his new acquaintances and ask "how did the, a,
Socialist Pahty get so strong in only, a, fohty yeahs? And why in, a,
God's
name is Teddy ovah theah with them?"
