For a new boat with 1 hour on the engine, does it need winterizing?

Glad to hear it. :o)

You can learn to "do-it-yourself" if you need, or want, to save a few
bucks, but the only thing better than knowing that your boat is "safe"
for the winter is knowing that your wife just put on something from
Victoria's Secret, and lit a candle. Either way, it's going to be a
good winter. :o)

To email me, remove the "OT-" from wrecked.ot-boats.noah.
....as you were. :o)

That was probably your best option. Enjoy it next spring.
