Congrats Chuck. The opinion here is you won't "miss" the 30 HP but you
will use about the same fuel for the same cruise speeds etc (uses the
same HP & HP is HP) however, diesels are happier making a bit of HP than
not.
The muffler will make a big difference noise wise however again it
might cost some fuel.
I know you talk about a change of boats but I honestly think you might
reconsider that, notwithstanding in your line of work you must come
across some unbelievable bargains; I can't imagine you'll find a
prettier more suitable boat for 2 & with a new heart..........
